I have been fascinated by the weather as long as I can remember. Born and raised in Georgia, the annual barrage of thunderstorms kept me watching the Weather Channel more than Cartoon Network. I parlayed this interest into a meteorology degree at Virginia Tech, and have since provided on-site forecasting services for over 25 major events around the globe. This experience can be largely attributed to my relationship with Thor Guard, a company that manufactures industry-leading lightning warning equipment, where I remain a territory manager for the state of Georgia.
I aim to expand these highly personalized weather services to compete in a space dominated by computer models and impersonal applications. There's nothing like the "feel" of an atmosphere that brings a human element to a forecast operation.
